God is a Good God He Speaks!

Genesis 1:1AMPC: "In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth."

Who was He preparing it for? Who was He fashioning it for?

Genesis 1:2-3 AMPC: "The earth was without form an empty waste - and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters."

Think about this - even though the Spirit of God was there over the face of the darkness, nothing changed until God spoke the Word. "Let there be light." and there was light!

Nothing will change for our dark and empty waste places, or circumstances, UNTIL we speak The Word of God and say the opposite of what we have.

It was "dark" God spoke, "Let there BE light!" (my capitalization)

We need to be about speaking The Word of God over our darkness. Sickness and disease is darkness. Not enough money to pay your rent and bills is darkness. Your child in rebellion is darkness. Your marriage in turmoil is darkness. Alcoholism and drug addiction is darkness.

God spoke everything into being, the sky, moon, sun, flowers, plants, beasts of the field, fish, birds. The only things He didn't speak into existence was man and woman. He created us in His image.

So speak to those things. If you need healing, speak the Word of God to that place in your body you need healing. "Let there be healing in my.....  I am healed by Jesus stripes. Don't just say it once, continually say it until it manifests. Satan is convinced you won't keep at it, he is convinced you won't be diligent. His lying symptoms will make you back off and quit speaking because the pain is intense or you see no evidence of change. Hebrews 11:1 says, "NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen."   Keep calling those things that BE not as though they were until you not only see the evidence but feel and live in the evidence of the thing hoped for. Praise Him NOW! Through the pain, through the lack, through the turmoil, keep your mouth filled with His Word and your praise of thanksgiving.

You need money, then first consider your ways, have you brought your tithes and offering to your storehouse (church)? If the answer is yes, then speak the Word of God to your bank account, "Let there be money." Let every need be met by Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19. Then praise and thank Him that every need is met and that money comes to you.

Search for the scriptures in the Word of God that covers your darkness, and then speak the Word of God and keep speaking to it until there is no evidence of darkness, and only light. Believe it will BE. Thank Him and praise Him for the evidence of the thing you are hoping for. Not wishing. But hoping (expecting).

Who was God preparing for and fashioning the earth for? US.
He prepared every good and perfect thing for us. Yes, we sin and fall short. But God sent His Only Son - Jesus to live and die, and resurrect just for us (you). Jesus BEcame our righteousness. We need to receive Him as our Savior and Redeemer, and then take our place in the Family. Not as a rebellious or ungrateful child, but as a son and daughter who loves and honors their Good Good Father. Living according to His standard. Going to church, reading and studying His Word, following Him, obeying His way, living our lives for Him, serving in His house. Living in God's standard includes, living in health, wealth, and prosperity, our family and children saved and living in the fullness of God's blessing and favor.  God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants, how much more His children.

"Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and them say continually, "Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant." And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day long." Psalm 35:27-28

When we mess up, He is right there to receive our repentance and get us back on track. Keep delighting in Him as your Father and He will back up your words of Faith. Keep praise and thankfulness in your words and heart all the day long.

Have a blessed and glorious day!

Be Care Free

Boy can "care" weigh you down, and steal your joy and peace. In the middle of the night or early morning the cares of this life can enter my mind and then I lay in bed mulling them over, trying to work it out, trying to find a solution, and I begin my to do list to work it out.

Well, again this early morning I awoke and the same routine began happening. Then I was reminded about "casting my cares upon the Lord." I begin to think about the verse that says, "Take my yoke upon you, for my burden is light..." So I pulled the covers off and went to my place to read, study, and spend time with the only One that can carry these cares and burdens.

I prayed for a few minutes, turned on worship music very softly, and opened my Bible. As I went through my tagged scriptures that I declare, I came across 1 Peter 5:6-7, I've read it many times but today it stood out to me, and touched my hurting soul.

"Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you (me)."  1 Peter 5:6-7

Even now writing this it brings tears to my eyes. Take a moment and just re-read this verse. I have been so accustomed to caring for myself and those around me. How about you?

Psalm 37:5 "Commit your way to the Lord (roll or repose) your load on Him (be confident, rely on).

This is what stood out to me:
  • Humble yourself: then there must be pride there if God is saying "humble yourself" Thinking I can handle and fix the situation that is so heavy. Trying to find a solution with out seeking God is prideful.
  • Casting - to violently throw or fling something with great force.
This word also brought to my mind the scripture in Mark 11:22-23: So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

I have learned in studying the Bible to read looking for God's response and then what my response is to be.
    1. My response: Is to have faith in God
    2. My response: Speak to the mountain and tell it to be removed, cast it into the see and do not doubt in my heart but believe only that what I said will be done
    3. God's response: To back up my faith words and my belief in my heart
    4. Outcome: I shall have what I said.
So I am to say to this mountain, not whisper. With authority and confidence my words will be obeyed because I have faith in God to back up my words and I won't doubt in my heart.

The Amplified Version says: Mark 11:22-23
And Jesus, replying, said to them, "Have faith in God (constantly). Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him."

Its up to us what we receive. What are we saying? Are we saying what the situation is? Or are we talking about the situation or to the situation?

Philippians 4:6: Don't be full of care for anything, but with prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God!

God tells us "don't" be full of care for anything - laying in bed thinking and mulling over circumstances is caring. Praying for wisdom, casting the care upon God is my response to this scripture. Doesn't mean I don't do anything, I pray, with supplication and thanksgiving, and then wait for God to respond with direction. My response, listen and wait for direction and then follow the direction. Doesn't mean that the enemy of my soul won't try to get me to take the care from God, or reason out the direction that God gives, this is the fight of faith - I only do what I hear from the Lord and I complete the direction to the end.

Be confident and He will bring it to pass.

Matthew 11:28: Come to Me (humble yourselves my insertion) all you who labor and are heavy laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest (I will ease and relieve and refresh your soul (mind, will, and emotions) my insertion).

Matthew 11:29: Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment, and recreation, and blessed quiet) for your souls.

Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my Shepherd....Is He?
He leads me beside green pastures (a good shepherd takes his sheep early in the morning when there is still dew on the grass and takes them to pasture to feed early in the morning, they get both the fresh grass and water.) The picture that comes to mind of our Shepherd doing this for us, because He is a good Shepherd, heart warming, like a warm hug and a great cup of coffee.

When we get up early and sit with our Shepherd in the morning before the day begins, and eat from His word and drink in His Holy Spirit in prayer, we are humbling ourselves and will find rest, relief, ease, refreshment, recreation and quiet for our mind, our will, and our emotions. This is offered to us every morning.

Our response: Lead me Shepherd, I set my alarm to wake up earlier than necessary so I can spend time with you. I humble myself first thing in the morning.

God's response: Rest, relief, ease, refreshment, recreation, and quiet to my mind.

Matthew 11:30 (amp) For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good, not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light (easy to carry, not heavy) and easy to be borne.

Yoke = commandments, assignments, daily instruction..
2 Commandments:
1. Love the Lord God with all your hear, with all your mind, and with all your soul.
2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Where do you stand on these commandments? If you have missed it, or are struggling to forgive someone then allow the Lord to Shepherd you to green pastures. Get refreshed in His presence. Humble yourself and come to Him, with the pain, disappointment, betrayal, cast them on Him for He will care for you.

2 Corinthians 4:17 (amp)
For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly prospering and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory (beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease).

Humble yourself and come and trust God.
Speak confidently and with the authority God has given you and throw those circumstances into the sea, and believe and don't doubt in your heart, it didn't say in your mind, you may have thoughts that will come to tell you its not working, because the battleground is in our minds. That is the only place the devil can come and whisper lies of doubt and unbelief, but as long as you don't take them and say them then you are in faith. Cast those thought down, take captive any thought that would try to uproot your trust or your words, and the knowledge you have gained, God said for you to be care free, and with this situation you cannot be carefree if you are still caring about it . But if you cast it on God, and cast it into the sea, you don't have a care. You've let go and let God care for you. Just like Abraham waited for his promise child, sometimes we have to wait. But let's wait in faith believing, thanking and glorifying God for the answer now. For the deliverance now, for the healing now, for the money now, for the relationship now, for the salvation now.

God's yoke is easy, He is not teaching you a lesson with sickness or anything that falls under what Christ redeemed us from on the Cross. We have an arch enemy who wants to destroy our faith and trust in God. We must fight the good fight of faith. We have been given authority to cast out whatever or where ever the curse is trying to infiltrate in our lives. We have the power of God to back us up when we take Him at His Word and do what He says for us to do. With God all things are possible.

Cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He will care for you. In due time He will exalt you! What a promise. I can feel my shoulders relaxing as I've cast all my care upon the Lord, He'll take care of them for me. He will exalt me in due time. Thank you my Father, you are so precious. Only You are able to meet the care and take the care. Plus you just don't care for me, You say You will also exalt me in due time. I need to look up that word and study it out.

God Bless you over abundantly above all that we could ask or think. To God be the glory!

I love kids

I am the children's room coordinator for our 3-10 year old classroom. Yes we are all in one classroom and to say it is a challenge to reach each child at their various age is definitely out side the box. But the way I see it, if God gives you an assignment if you'll listen, He will also give you the way to make it happen.

Well, He has and we are thriving - more importantly our kids are thriving. Recently we had a Oasis Training (the name of our children's ministry is Oasis Kids) and our Oasis Kids took over the Wednesday night service (approved by our Pastors). We began planning in February and began talking and praying about the theme and what we wanted to accomplish. When it comes to kids there is so much we want to accomplish.

We had a wonderful evening and it proved to be a great resource for recruitment without going out and trying to recruit people. Its amazing how God just moves on hearts.

Our theme was " A Heart for Children's Ministry." We were focused on giving things for "children to reach for" instead of candy, chips, soda, video games, etc. Their hearts are hungry and boredom is a loud suggestion. So we wanted to give ideas for parents and kids to reach for when they think their hungry, or bored, to reach for things about Jesus. Reach for their Bible, or even an activity based on the Bible. So I created some things for parents to take with them.

One of the things that I thought was so wonderful, I found on Pinterest from Rachel Wojo, was a Bible reading plan for kids. I printed it out for Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John along with instructions to parents to get stickers and make Bible reading a fun daily activity for their family.

I also created for our younger children - ABC Attitude Cards you can obtain a set of your owe from by going to my store at www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Suzy-Bzz-Things.  You will want to print them out, laminated them for long term use, hole punched them and then put a colored plastic ring so they can hang on a hook, you can review the ABC's with your child, have a verse every day to read. Its a way to bring the awareness of God into your child's everyday.

Here is a sample of Alphabet Cards.
Recently one of our grandparents who brings her 3 grandchildren to Oasis told me her one granddaughter was dealing with a disease. I told her that I would bring her healing scriptures for her to confess daily. Well, I was prompted to create a set of Healing Scripture cards similar to the ABC Attitude cards. They are also available
Healing scripture cards there are 29 cards in all. You can get your set at my Teachers Pay Teachers Page Suzy Bzz Things.
If you believe that Jesus is your healer, and that He still heals today then these cards are for you. Declare them in faith. Believe and take them just as you would take the medicine the doctor prescribes. The doctor is practicing medicine - our Jesus is the Great Physician. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is (eternally changeless, always) the same yesterday and today and forever.

We can count on Him healing us. Believe in His Word, act on His Word, and say what His Word says.

Kids will reach for something - why not Jesus!

Be Blessed!
